My cousin, CJ, is in Nebraska at a rehab facility. I'm gathering she's doing wonderfully and her memory is slowing making its way back. So good to hear.
JC's labs came back the highest they've ever been. She had a couple bad days of extreme lethargy, but once we compared notes, decided it's the winter doldrums that everyone is seeming to have. We need some SUN.
I have the donor evaluation next week. I'm not really worried about it. It is what it is and will be. I'm a compatible donor or I'm not. This is one thing that's very black and white. And for that, I'm glad. Peeing in all kinds of containers and pretty constant for two days....not something glamorous that's for sure.
My kidlets are officially crazy. They need sun and decent weather so they can get outside. They are making their crazy crazy.
Mad Hatter has a blanket that goes everywhere. Has for as long as I can remember. It's a one-of-a-kind crocheted deal made by my grandmother when I was 16 and packed away with some other stuff she'd been secretly keeping for me. She managed to somehow break the yarn and unraveled a LARGE hole. In the damned middle of the blanket. She brought it to me yesterday morning in tears. I told her she had to leave it at home and I'd fix it the minute I walked in the door from work. My crocheting skills are seriously lacking. I managed to fix her blanket. It's resembling Frankenstein. Some of the holes are getting bigger and I can't do much about them. I've tied off the yarn so they don't unravel anymore, but I'm running out of creative ideas. The yarn is a variegated white/pink/blue/mint green and I haven't been able to find it anywhere. And she refuses any other blankets. Kid is almost 6. I kinda thought she'd be done with it....and her thumb-sucking.
Chunky has discovered monster trucks. I wish he'd discover peeing on the potty. He's just not that into it. I've tried prizes, treats, threats, nakedness, promises of chuck e. cheese. Nothing. Not interested. Zippo-shitto. At least he won't go to college in a diaper. I hope.
Is it Spring yet?
